Wazifa for Keeping Our Kids Safe

Wazifa is a special prayer in Islam where we recite certain verses from the Quran or names of Allah to ask for blessings and protection. For parents, ensuring the safety of their children is a top priority, and wazifa can offer spiritual support for this. Here’s a simple guide on how to use wazifa to keep our kids safe.

Why Ask for Allah’s Protection?

Children are a precious gift from Allah, and as parents, we must do everything we can to keep them safe. Along with taking care of them and keeping them out of harm’s way, asking for Allah’s protection through prayer can bring extra peace of mind.

Easy Wazifas for Kids’ Safety

  1. Ayat-ul-Kursi (Quran 2:255)
    • Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi daily and blow over your children. This verse is known for its strong protective powers.Translation: “Allah! There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all that exists. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they cannot encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
  2. Surah Al-Falaq (113) and Surah An-Naas (114)
    • Recite these two short Surahs together every morning and evening for protection against all types of harm.Surah Al-Falaq Translation: “Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness as it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.'”Surah An-Naas Translation: “Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the whisperer who withdraws, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, among jinn and among men.'”
  3. Daily Prayers for Protection
    • Teach your kids these short prayers (duas) for their daily protection:
      • Bismillahillazi la yadurru ma’asmihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i wa Huwas-Sami’ul-‘Aleem. (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can harm. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.)
      • A’udhu bi kalimatillahi-tammati min sharri ma khalaq. (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.)
